Heather and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Bad Shopping Trip

Oh yes, this is my story.  I have seen that people like personal posts and not just review posts so I am going to have some of each on my blog.  I originally thought no one wanted to hear about little ole me but maybe they do.  If you don't want to hear about me, you can boo me off my blog :) Anyway, back to the story...

I went out yesterday afternoon while the boys slept to all the stores on my shopping list;  that consisted of Target, Publix, and Bi Lo.  Target was first on my list and while I was walking from my car to the store, I got hit by a car.  It was more of a bumping into by a car but still, geez.  A car backed up into me because they weren't look.  When the lady jumped out of the car to see if I was alright and apologize, I saw that she was talking on her cell phone to a friend.  I really wish people would watch out more to their surroundings.  I was fine thank goodness, and  the boys were not with me which was a blessing.  The Target trip was uneventful after that besides the point that formula is freaking expensive and takes up a chunk of our grocery budget.  Oh well!

Next I made it to Publix with no mishaps.  Once in Publix all the fun started.  It took me 20 minutes to get deli meat, and they had NO good produce.  All their Fuji apples had bruises, they had no more strawberries, and their bananas were all neon green.  We are a family that eats fruits every day so that was a HUGE disappointment.  I then realized they no longer sell our favorite Publix ice cream.  Oh and a lot of things were missing off shelves, and everyone was rude in the store because they were just as fed up as me.  I decided to leave without everything on my list; I couldn't deal with the shopping anymore.  But I still went OVER budget at checkout which irritated me to no end.  I went home and made my husband unpack the groceries.  He handed me bread that he baked when I was gone so I could sit down to relax.  I took a bite of the bread and had to spit it out immediately.  Patrick didn't mention to me that it was banana bread and I hate bananas, haha.  Poor husband!  He was trying to help.

Anyway after yesterday I am staying home and relaxing today :)  The positive about yesterday was I had a great morning!  Church was amazing, and we got Micah dedicated.  It was a beautiful dedication service. Micah fell asleep as we were singing Jesus Loves Me.

I can't believe she hit you! What a dork!! (Well, worse than that, but I won't say it.)
And that really stinks about the grocery shopping. How annoying! I sure hate going over budget too.
But I must say, the fact that your husband actually made bread would make that day a great day for me. My husband has never baked a thing in his life.

Oh my stars,

I can't believe that lady hit you. Even if she didn't hurt you, she still hit you. It's really too bad people can't pay attention to their surroundings when driving anymore. LOL

And I'm also in shock that you're hubby baked Banana bread for you. That's awesome, even if you don't like it. LOL, I don't allow my hubby to play with the oven. Did you ever watch the show Home Improvements with Tim Allen??? Yeah, well that's the kind of man I'm married to, MORE POWER. LOL

I'm glad you're ok.
