From the publisher: In Vincent Zandri's new noir Moonlight Falls, Richard Moonlight is a private detective and massage therapist in training, and knows he is in deep trouble.  After surviving a botched suicide attempt, he now lives precariously on the fence between life and death due to the remnant of a .22 caliber bullet lodged in his brain.  With the little piece of lead pressing up against his cerebral cortex, heknows he can't always trust himself to make the correct decisions.  He also can't trust his short term memory.

Then his sometimes lover, the beautiful Scarlet Montana, calls him up one night.  He knows he should resist, but the temptation is too strong.  Later that same night, when Scarlet's body is discovered, Moonlight receives a call by her police chief husband, Jake, to oversee a special investigation into a murder may well have committed.

My thoughts: This book is one awesome thriller.  I was kept guessing throughout the entire book;  The ending took me by complete surprise.  Vincent Zandri is a very talented writer.  There were lots of things happening and twists and turns but they all flowed very well together.  I never once got lost, confused, or annoyed with all that was going on.  I felt connected with the main character, Richard Moonlight, and cared about his plight.  I feel like connecting with the main character(s) is a must in a book.  This was a book I could not put down until it was finished.  I would recommend this to all book lovers of a good thriller.

I'm very happy to read your review, I might pick this up where otherwise I would not have. The Title is great but the cover is awful!
