My Review:

There are a lot of legends and folklore about Saint Patrick that we have all heard but there is very little real facts that we know about his life.  I thought Jonathan Rogers did an amazing job piecing Saint Patrick's life together using Patrick's writings and historical research and records.  I had not known anything about Saint Patrick except for a few legends before reading this book.  Rogers really showed the human side of Saint Patrick that you do not see in the legends; he is a man with personal strengths and weakness with a true heart for God.  He lived in a difficult time.  His life was not always easy but he learned to come out ahead in life.

I would recommend this to anyone that wants to know more about the man that we celebrate today March 17.  I found this book to be interested and easy to read.  It was not too lengthy or wordy as some biographies are.
