Addictions

It is not what you think!  I have a major addiction- THE INTERNET.  My husband was talking about how expensive it was and how it did not improve his quality of life.  I started immediately getting this panicy flutter in my chest at the thought of no internet.  What in the world would I do without my gmail, my facebook, and my blogs?!  Not to mention I have come to rely on the internet to find phone numbers, business, keep in touch with friends and family, and even make money.  The internet is so useful for a variety of reasons. I understand why some people who work all day at computers don't want to come home and play around on the computer.  But stay at home moms like myself NEED the internet and computer.  I feel like it is my sanity.  If the internet goes out or isn't working all that well, I have a bad day.  That's bad isn't it?

Here are a few things on the world wide web that I am addicted to and check a few times a day:

• My facebook home page
• Facebook swap/ selling groups in my area- if you are in the Charleston, SC area let me know and I will share them with you.  I have my daughter's Christmas covered and part of my son's Christmases already bought from there at a good price!
• My google reader.  I check for new giveaways and interesting posts from my favorite blogs.
• My local moms group- The Charleston Mommies.  This is an awesome bunch of ladies!  Check The Mommies Network to see if you have a mommies group in your area.  It's great for mom's night outs, play dates, and talking with like minded moms.  I don't know what I'd do without this group!
• Crowdtap- I have made $9 on there so far and have gotten free Old Navy jeans for myself and 1 friend. 
• Kids Woot- It's a 1 a day sales website but sometimes they have woot offs for a day.  I stalk it like crazy on those days.
• My email.  I check it about a million times a day!
