I am tired. I am exhausted.
My house has been sick for a solid 2 weeks. I was the first to get sick, then Micah, my 2 year old. Neither Micah or I are totally well yet. Both my husband and my 3 year old, Connor got sick at the same time. My baby girl, Noelle is showing some symptoms now. Micah and I had mostly sinus problems but also a scratchy throat, body aches, and fatigue. My husband and Connor have a cough really bad plus some sinus problems, body aches, and fatigue. I'm thinking it's the flu going around.
A mother's job is never done when children are sick. No matter how much my husband wants to help, all the children cry out for Mommy when they don't feel well. I can't ignore my kids crying out for mommy. It's so dear and precious to me. I take my job as a mom seriously. I cuddle, take temperatures, dispense medicine, fill humidifiers, more cuddling, clean noses, and endure watching Curious George all day long because the kids don't have energy to play. I trudge on loaded on medicines and little to no sleep. Thank goodness for coffee. I managed to escape for a bit tonight to go shopping. It helped relax me and clear my head so I could come back and be a better mommy to my kids. Sometimes us parents need a short break to make us even more appreciative, especially when things are stressful.
I wish I had more intelligent and meaningful things to write about today but my brain is tired :) I have more reviews and giveaways lined up soon. I am so excited about what is in store for my blog. It really is true that when your Alexa rating gets lower, that many more opportunities open up. Plus, I truly am dedicated to this blog and all my readers. My blog is an outlet for me. A wonderful, beautiful outlet. Thanks to all of you that read and interact with me on my blog. I love you all!
Here is a pitiful sick picture of Micah.

You poor darling. I always hated it when I had a household that was sick. I was always the last to get sick, and it lasted the longest with me. Hope everyone gets well soon.
