Family Pictures

Family pictures are a big ordeal.  It's a huge stressor for my husband and I, not to mention the cost of the pictures and the outfits for the pictures.  But we have to have those family pictures with all five of us looking at the camera;  otherwise I am always behind the camera or trying to get the timer to work and trying to get everyone to wait for it. 

My friend, Rachel Weber, takes amazing pictures.  I knew she would find beauty no matter how my kids acted but that doesn't mean I wasn't stressed.  Only 1 of my 3 children decided to show their beautiful smiles.  Only 1 of my 3 children would pose for the camera and listen to direction.  Only 1 enjoyed themselves.  But still, Rachel, found beautiful moments to capture on film.  She sent me a CD with 54 pictures on it.  54 beautiful pictures that capture memories of the age my kids are at right now.  They might not cooperate but I love them at this age.  They are small, they are cute, and they will never be this way again.  I will cherish the pictures that were taken.
