Neon Tiki Tribe- Unique Children's Books #WIN
There are lots of children's books out there in the universe. Most don't stand out but a few do stand out above the rest. The Neon Tiki Tribe books are children's books that stand out. The Neon Tiki Tribe are super-positive heroes; the brightest heroes on earth. TIKI stands for Thoughtful Intelligent Kind Individual.
I have a friend who is dyslexic. I see the struggles she has and have heard about the struggles during her childhood. She doesn't enjoy reading because regular font is almost impossible for her to read. It is so exciting that Neon Tiki Tribe uses a dyslexic-friendly font. I let my friend look over the Neon Tiki Tribe books to test out the dyslexic-friendly font. You should have seen her face when she could read the books; she exclaimed she could even read them standing up with the books on the table which she can never do with books. It fueled my desire to make others aware of these books. Kids with dyslexia should be able to read and to enjoy it!
These books have a lot more going for them than just the dyslexic-friendly font. The Neon Tiki Tribe books have great moral stories. There is Book 1: Tiki Beach Battle, Book 2: Dog Rescue Mission, and Book 3: Playground Push-Around. My 4 year old absolutely loves these book. We read them constantly all day long, ever since we received the books. My son, also, has a poster of the Neon Tiki Tribe in his bedroom which he brags about daily. The characters are unique; the morals are amazing, and the illustrations are colorful and beautiful.
After Book 3: Playground Push- Around there are some talking points, you can talk about with your child. The book is a great lesson about standing up to bullies in a good way. She told adults around her and then confronted the bullies in a nice way. October is National Bullying Month. Bullying is a serious issue in schools and needs to be talked about and addressed.
Disclaimer: I received these books for free in exchange for an honest review. I was not otherwise compensated for this post. All the thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thank you!
